Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.

Mothers’ Day is an occasion on which we may take the opportunity to honor the women who gave birth to us and who supported us through all of our life decisions. It is the day on which we can show all of the appreciation that we hold towards our own mothers and also towards our mother figures, such as grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and stepmothers.  

A mother acts as a mentor and a guide. She is the perfect example of selfless devotion and love. A mother has a pure heart full of nothing but of love and care. She plays the role of a teacher, a nurse, a counselor, a coach, and, most of all, a best friend. We take the opportunity on this precious day to thank you for a million things: 

Thank you for maintaining your grace and for blessing others, for all the amazing memories that will never be forgotten and for a legacy that will be proudly carried on. 

Thank you for always being in our lives and for always looking out for us in this changing world. 

Thank you for constantly lifting us when we fall, and for believing in us when we did not believe in ourselves. 

If we were to thank our mother for one last thing, it would be to thank her for giving us life.
