The fashion season is officially over and now it’s time to look back on the most striking looks from the runway. From dark bedazzling lips at DKNY to edgy hair embellishments at Dolce & Gabbana, here are the top 5 beauty takeaways from the spring 2017 shows.

 1. Dark bedazzled lips at DKNY

DKNY’s designer duo went for a futuristic take on their Spring 2017 collection; the DKNY girl gang marched thru the runway in a streetwise attitude and a very minimal makeup contrasted with bold brows and dark dramatic bedazzling lips.

2. Playful dolly bobs at Moschino

Jeremy Scott didn’t disappoint for Moschino’s Spring 2017 show, notorious for his fashionably eccentric designs and ideas, Scott gave his models a playful vibe with dresses and ensembles similar to paper doll outfits. The models sported flirtatious wavy bobs reminiscent of old school Barbie dolls paired with a bold cat-eye and luscious dolly lashes and completed with a perfectly sculpted cheek and a matte coral lipstick.

3. Erratic feline flicks at Fendi

Fendi’s Spring 2017 collection brought a quirky combination to the runway, from tailored jackets, utilitarian stripes, 3D leather flowers, baroque brocades, and sheer and satin lingerie. But aside from the perfectly executed collection, Fendi’s beauty look stood out, models flaunted disconnected and elongated cat-eyes and enchanting glittery lips to match the unusual theme.

4. Edgy hair embellishments at Dolce & Gabbana
Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are well known for their edgy and embellished design that’s why a show without striking accessories is not a Dolce & Gabbana show. Gorgeous models strut down the catwalk with bright red pouts and in a variety of eye-catching hairpieces from regal tiaras, chic turbans, to even piles of fruits that exude that Tropico Italiano vibe.

5. Bohemian glam at Roberto Cavalli
Peter Dundas’ take for Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2017 paid an ode to America’s Navajo and Apache tribes clashed with vivid colors and contrast, and a dash of rock and roll. To balance the look with the collection, fresh-faced models are sent to the runway resembling youthful vagabonds; nude eyelids and delicate lashes were paired with natural soft pink lips and lightly blushed cheeks, finished off with thin braids hidden in tousled hair for that glamorous bohemian look.
