Donna Karan is a fashion designer who was born in New York City. Her Family played a big part of making her fashion career; her mother worked as a model and her stepfather was as a suit designer. Her early passion for fashion leaded her to sell clothes at the age of 14 at a local boutique.

In 1984, she started her own business with her second husband “Stephan Weiss” by designing modern clothes, after a while she began to design clothes for women. Then, she extended a new line called “DKNY”; it is a line that includes many designs for young women and it is less expensive.

The American Donna Karan has succeeded to grab more attention during New York Fashion Week as she has presented her spring collection for 2015 that named “The art of street”. She created many designs to suit different occasions like work, casual, parties and night outings.

The collection was extremely very artistic and elegant as Donna has used many colors like black, white, brick and red. In the same time, she has added printed fabrics to her designs to look more fantasy. Also she has focused on tops during the show and that created the sexy chic style by using them with some classy skirts.

The art of street collection was characterized by some things like the exaggerated long Hats that are designed by Stephen Jones for millinery. As for the catwalk, there were many celebrities models such as Kendall Jenner, Camilla Alves and Anna Wintour.
